Update Category Additional Information Section (DFF)
Hello,
We have a requirement to add an additional DFF value to the existing category information in PIM. These are legacy categories under the item catalogue and are currently used in PR/PO creation as well as in the mapping sets for procurement accounting.
Could you please advise whether it is recommended to update the “Additional Information” section of the existing item categories without impacting historical records?
Additionally, please confirm the best practice for handling such updates.
