Questions related to Address Verification

  1. As Oracle now supports Zip Code Extension also unlike Vertex which only supported 5 digit zip code, is it mandatory to enable Postal code extension under Address Formats and make it optional?

2. If any addresses which are not as per Oracle recommendation are entered in UI, we are getting a warning but the address is being updated. If the same needs to be loaded using HDL/HSDL, we are seeing an error and address is not being updated. Should we disable the Address Validation under Features by Country in order to load such addresses using HDL or is there any attribute available in HDL to disable address validation?
