25.11/Essbase 21c - (Unexpected) reduction in consolidation time.

Summary:

At one of our customers we are testing the 25.11 upgrade to see if we have any of the issues mentioned, related to Essbase 21c.

We encountered a significant reduction in consolidation time (a reduction of 50%!) which is mentioned in the documentation as being a signal of things going wrong (consolidation times should be similar, see the following link).

Are there more FCC users experiencing this, without having an actual issue?

We've checked:

  • Base level and Consolidated result/balance sheet (no differences, including Equity pickup)
  • Data import / data export (no differences)
