Global Absence Accrual Event not triggering for future effective date (2026)

Summary:

Hello Experts,

I have created a Global Absence Accrual Event with the same name as the Absence Plan.

  • When I try to create the plan and attach the formula with an effective start date in 2026, the formula is not triggering.
  • As a result, no event dates are being generated.

Our requirement is to build an incremental accrual plan, where:

  • The event formula should generate monthly accrual dates.
  • It should also provide additional dates whenever there is a change in the employee’s situation.

But currently, since the effective date is in the future (2026), the event formula is not firing at all.
