Unable to delete manufacturer with Delete Manufacturer REST API

Summary:

Manufacturers are not getting deleted after the below Delete Manufacturer REST API is processed : /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/manufacturers/{manufacturersUniqID}

Although the REST API is successfully processed , still the Manufacturer comes up in the Manufacturer list.

Please let us know how to permanently delete manufacturers.
