Pick Confirm API

I require your clarification regarding the Pick Confirm API.

I am currently working a design solution for an automated warehouse, which involves integrating Oracle WMS with an external WCS system. I am utilizing the Pick Confirm API to facilitate the processing of pick confirmations from WCS to WMS. However, the existing process allows WCS to pick from alternative locations, which means picking inventory from locations not allocated by WMS through wave template.

My question is: Will WMS accept alternative locations through the Pick Confirm API?

Based on my testing, the Pick Confirm API has failed for both active and reserved location types, but allow to pick inventory from different batch/LPN number if its existing in the same location.
