Cashflow by projects

Summary:

Quite often I get asked by our clients, can Oracle do cashflow by projects. In essence cost forecasts we feed in cost forecasts in the form of ETC and EAC's whilst contracts lines contain billing milestones and other invoicing methods, payment terms etc.. so in theory, the data can be calculated to manufacture a project cashflow using custom BIP reports. However, I'm not aware of an out of the box functionality where clients can generate such cash forecasts by projects.

I'm keen to figure out how others have addressed such requirements. Appreciate in advance for sharing your thoughts..
