Changes to the Seeded BIP Template for ManageDORReport are not reflecting in the notificaiton

Summary: I made copy of the default template for the ManageDORReport and uploaded as a new DEFAULT template for the report in the custom folder. But the changes are not showing in the Notification which is displayed to the user in the BPM work list.
When I receive the EMAIL for the same approval, these changes are reflected
