Absence Balance mismatch on add absence and Absence Balance Page

Hi
As of today
This is what is shown balance is 13 days, if employee goes to apply to leave today
But as of today the employee has already applied few future absences and the correct balance is 10 days
Now the expectation from my client is Add Absence page also should show 10 and not 13
please advise
