Time Zone Clarification - Server Level vs Legal Entity Level
We are currently using Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications with multiple Legal Entities and Business Units operating across different geographies. Two of our Legal Entities operate in regions that follow Dubai and Qatar time zones.
Currently, time zone is controlled at the server/global level and no Legal Entity level time zone has been configured for all entities.
Payroll module in Production environment went live in Nov-2024 and payroll transactions already exists in Prod.
Request you to please advise on the below questions.
- Whether time zone configuration is recommended at the Legal Entity level or server level?
- Whether it is safe to update time zone settings post go-live at the Legal Entity level?
