Can we customize accrual effective date under plan based on value sets

The plan setup is for monthly repeating period ,we have created independent value sets which contain VALUE .

VALUE -- This is an effective date on which we run the Calculate Accruals and Balances process runs.

PROBLEM STATEMENT -- If we run the 'Calculate Accruals and Balances' process with effective date as 12/5/25 from above mentioned value set, the date under plan balance screen is displayed as 12/31/25 as highlighted below in the screenshot

EXPECTATION -Is it possible to show the date under plan balance screen as 12/5/25 which is configured in the value set instead of 12/31/25 as highlighted in the above screenshot.
