Attached video explains Metadata Repair Utility a Groovy based business rule. This utility helps to check if metadata is out of sync between Planning relational database and Essbase BSO database and identifies member(s) which are present/absent in respective database.

Groovy rule MetadataRepair is shared herewith.

  1. Download file to a local directory.
  2. Rename file to .xml.
  3. Import file into Calculation Manager.
  4. Validate and Deploy rule.
  5. Execute rule MetadataRepair.
  6. Utility log is generated in Jobs Console.
  7. Additional log files are generated in Inbox/Outbox Explorer.
