Summary:

Business users do not want to manually enter Expected Response Time while creating Spot Bids.

To meet this requirement, we are using the parameter:

SPOT BID RESPONSE TIME BEFORE SHIPMENT START

As a workaround, the Spot Bid Start Date is system-calculated and pushed to a future date (3–6 months later). While this allows Spot Bid completion without user input, it causes the Spot Bid Complete page to display future Start and End dates, which do not reflect the actual shipment execution timeline.

These future dates are confusing for planners and lead to frequent clarification requests.

Business users do not want to manually enter Expected Response Time while creating Spot Bids.
