How to change logo in Appearance by Themes

It seems that in 25D, the Appearance page has transformed to redwood. We are trying to create a custom theme and upload client image as logo. After applying, the logo is displayed on Appearance page.

However, when we publish sandbox and relogin, we dont see Logo in Home page. When we come in Appearance page, we see logo.
