To Adjust remaining annual leave balance above carryover in case leave is applied in previous year

Hi All,

Looking for inputs on the below scenario

The requirement is where the Annual leaves remaining after carryover days should not be forfeited if the leaves have been applied before 31st of December.

Carryover limit- 10 days

UOM-Days(working days)

Eg. Currently- Employee applied continous leave from 29th Dec 2025 to 2nd Jan 2026(Jan1st is working day)and has 20 days annual leave balance. This should deduct 3 days from year 2025. Carried over leave would be 10 days. Jan 1st and Jan 2nd woud be deducted from the new balance. After Jan-2nd-2026 the balance will be 8 days (as per the system).
