Data security grant assigned to a custom role is not working

Summary:

I created a custom Hiring Manager role and assigned the data security policy "Hiring manager can choose position for positions in their position security profile." After making the change, I ran the following jobs: Import user and role application security data, Regenerate data security grants. The position security profile is enabled and set to "Secure by position Hierarchy."

When comparing the seeded role with the custom role using the "Only in the first role" option, it doesn't recognize the assigned data security policy.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?
