Evaluate Absence process not reducing leave duration (Holiday)

Summary:

We have some employees who already taken leave on 18th December, on 30th December we added 18th as holiday in manage calendar event.

When we are applying new leave considering 18th december, it is showing 0 days leave it means it is working fine. But now we want to reduce one day duration from existing leaves, to achieve this we ran evaluate absence program and select 18th December effective date but no impact, it is not reducing absence duration nor increasing 1 day balance.
