Guidance needed: Dynamically updating reconciliation frequency based on prior-period adjustments
Hello Oracle ARCS Experts,
We’re implementing a requirement similar to what Cadency delivers via its DAM (Delinquent Account Maintenance) batch. The logic is:
- For a reconciliation originally set to Quarterly, if prior-period adjustments exceed a threshold (e.g., $1,000 USD or equivalent in another currency),
- Then for the current period, its frequency should automatically change to Monthly.
- The best way to replicate Cadency’s DAM logic in ARCS
- How to capture prior-period adjustment data and apply conditional frequency updates
- Whether this should be implemented via Set Attribute rule, calculated attribute, or a custom process
- Any known limitations, best practices, or configuration settings required
