Is it possible to prevent a column being used on the ADFDI spreadsheet for bulk uploads? if yes, how

Summary:

Asset accountant used the Payables Cost column to update the project acquisition value, (not sure why). this doubled the historical value and posted additional journal to Fixed asset clearing line and CWIP clearing line.

What it does is? Original cost is double the current cost, we tried to adjustment processes (using Adjust cost, Fixed Asset Financialadjustment FBDI) that could not change the Historical value and could not delete the assets as they were project related, we could only retire and manually reverse the Asset acquisition and asset disposal journals and add all 3 assets manually. Messy process.
