ARCS Data load with Snapshot mode
Summary:
We’re facing a data load issue as described below:
Day 1 file: Account ‘12345’ has value 500
Day 2 file: No value for Account ‘12345’
When we load Day 2, the Day 1 value gets wiped and replaced with null since the account isn’t present in Day 2.
To resolve this, we created a new location to load Day 2 with snapshot mode. This keeps Account ‘12345’ intact, but causes duplication for other accounts. For example:
Day 1: Account ‘67890’ = 200
Day 2: Account ‘67890’ = 300
After loading Day 2 in the new location, Account ‘67890’ shows 500 instead of the correct closing balance of 300.
