Recommended approach to extract OTL and AM data for ADP Payroll

Summary:

Hello : I am looking for a suggestion on what is the best approach to extract OTL and AM data for ADP Payroll.

A) By referring custom extracts to OTL and AM Tables

B) By referring custom extracts to Calculation Cards

Currently, we are using calculation cards, because in calculation cards data can be baselined and then run custom extracts. However we are seeing sometimes issues like

A) load time card batch process is completing with error.

B) taking long hours to complete.

C) extracts are having performance issues as well referring to calculation cards tables.

D) Also time cards are going to INITIAL_SELECT status when load time card batch process is running + employees are editing time cards same time.
