Learning Community Notifications and Reporting

I believe Oracle HCM is not allowing for the full potential of Learning Communities to be reached within the LMS. My current client is utilizing Learning Communities for both categorization of learning items as well as the development of particular subsets of learners. As we have progressed with implementation and testing of learning communities, we have come to realize that the Oracle platform seems to have neglected the use of communities for anything more than organization of catalog items.

  1. When a learner is requesting access to a community, the manager does not receive any notification of the request.
    1. OTBI Reports/Analysis does not have any usable fields for creating a report, which could have served as a workaround to allowing managers to know who needs to be accepted or rejected from the community.
