Approval Rules - when an employee does not have a line manager assigned; auto-approved by admin.
Hello Community,
We need guidance on configuring Oracle Cloud HCM approvals for the following scenario:
- No Manager Assigned: If an employee’s position has no manager, absence requests submitted by an admin/employee should be auto-approved.
- Admin Submission: If an Absence Admin submits a request on behalf of an employee who does not have a manager (position), the request should be auto-approved.
However, We have an approval rule in place for specific absence types to always be routed to the manager for approval (when line manager in place). - Rest of the Cases: All other requests should follow the approval rule set.
