Excel uploads not working in AI Chat Attachment Upload – any special prompts needed?

Hi all,

We are running into an issue with AI Chat Attachment Upload and wanted to see if anyone has experience with this and can help us further. We have an AI Agent with attachment uploads enabled in the chat session, we also included the tool '' so AI can read the document.

TXT files work perfectly fine — the AI reads them and responds as expected.

Excel files (.xlsx), however, don’t seem to work the same way (data in the file is equal to the data in the .txt file). Uploading them doesn’t produce the same results. It keeps asking questions about the file scope, but even if we answer all questions it repeats the same questions over and over again.
