Employee's Timecard Approval is failing becuase no Line Manager is on the Assignment

Summary:

For Time and Labor approvals, we have a scenario that for employees on a certain position codes, their timecard should get Auto-Approved.

This is working, but the problem is, that on employees Assignment for that position codes, there is NO Line managers (Line Manager field is blank).

Now, when Line manager is Blank the Approval fails because Line Manager is Blank.

Is there a way to get the Timecards auto-approved when Line Manager is blank on the Assignment?
