Withdraw is not working while enabled new update 25d - Lock completed absence for updates after

In a non-production environment, I used the 25D feature to configure one of our absence plan types with “Lock completed absence for updates after” set to 5 calendar days at the employee editing level.

I then logged in as an employee and applied for leave for yesterday (current day − 1). The leave was approved. As per the expected functionality, the Withdraw option should be displayed, but it is not appearing. Note: In Redwood, when the Withdraw option is enabled, it is visible. However, when I disable this option, the Withdraw option still appears.
