Reservation behavior for automatic consumption (Operation Pull)

Hi everyone,

We’re working with Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing and would like to confirm the standard behavior regarding inventory reservations for Work Orders.

Scenario:

  • Components defined in the Work Definition with Supply Type = Operation Pull (automatic consumption / backflush).
  • Components defined as Push / Pull (manual consumption).
  • This Scenario happens right after I do my pick for push materials and when I check the reservation, there are just push materials reserved.

Observed behavior:

  • Components with manual consumption (Push) are automatically reserved for the Work Order.
  • Components with automatic consumption (Operation Pull) are not reserved at any stage before operation completion.
