Cross-Ledger Asset Transfer Functionality

Summary:

Our client has a requirement to transfer assets across books and across ledgers, while keeping the Asset Cost and Depreciation Reserve values the same in the destination book as in the source book. Based on Oracle documentation and the Asset Transfers FBDI template, it seems that it is only possible to perform cross-ledger asset transfers by using the NBV Transfer type, which sets asset cost in destination book = NBV and Depreciation Reserve = 0.

Are there any workarounds or is there any functionality in Fusion that would allow for cross-ledger, cross-book asset transfer while keeping the Asset Cost and Depreciation Reserve values in the destination book with the same values as the source book?
