Can you add Ad Hoc items to a Discrete Work Definition from the Front-End UI

Summary:

Requirement is to be able to manually add a component to a discrete standard work definition for a Finished Good item without an item structure. I know you can do this via FBDI, but is there a way to do this from the front end?
