I would like to better understand the role of the Effective Date parameter in HCM, as well as its purpose within the integration with Planning (Workforce module).

We currently have an integration between HCM and Planning – Workforce, which is executed on a monthly basis. For example, the execution parameter is set to Jan 2026. However, within this integration, there is also an Effective Date parameter that uses a daily format (DD/MM/YYYY).

Given that the integration is executed using a MM-YYYY period, what the appropriate value for the Effective Date should be in this scenario?
