Does member with "Enable for Dynamic Children" is treated as Parent member

We are trying to push the data from Input Cube (BSO) to Reports Cube (ASO) through a data map , it working fine unless we find that it is not pushing for the Project dimension member i.e. "Cost Plus Projects". After doing some analysis we found one dissimilarity from other members where data push was successful, the "Enable for Dynamic Children" option is enabled for this member.

Can someone please let us know if member with "Enable for Dynamic Children" is treated as Parent member by Essbase? as in few LLMs we have seen the same response but there is no proper documentation to show the same to customer.
