25C and later: Action required — Enable/schedule “Process Recruiting Jobs Alert”

Summary:

Starting in Update 25C (and continuing in later releases), Oracle Recruiting requires the dedicated scheduled process: Process Recruiting Jobs Alert for Job Alerts to run. If you have not enabled and scheduled this process, candidates and employees will not receive Job Alerts. This change improves performance, reliability, and visibility into alert delivery.

What changed in 25C (applies to 25C and later)

  • Job Alert processing is separated from campaign email jobs via the new scheduled process: Process Recruiting Jobs Alert.
  • This process is required for Job Alerts to be generated and sent.
  • It no longer creates an interaction record for every alert email, reducing noise and overhead.
