OIC Connection using Confidential App with Code Authorization expires?

Summary:

Hi,

we have an OIC Integration using a connection with oAuth Code Authorisastion flow. To making that work a Confidential App was created for this.

To get the connection work, a Consent needs to be provided, which is working fine and also Integration is working fine after Consent provided and connection tested.

So far so good!

Now it happens from time to time in our lower environments (which are rarely used only for testing and UAT) that the Integration stops working and I have to provide consent again in the connection object.

So it seems that the connection somehow expires after a while (if it is not used)?! This is an assumption I make.
