Possibility of Freeform cube in EPBCS modules enabled application

We are planning to have a Free form Cube to do a Article level planning in product line dimension, As I understand Freeform and EPBCS Modules are different processes we can select when creating an application by any chance can we create a Freeform cube in the same EPBCS modules enabled application.
