Can you please help me understand why a balance adjustment entry through HDL performed this year is showing as being created in 2024?

We have recently updated the balance of several absence records through HDL, using Jan 1 2026 as effective date. When checking the Update Balance Details, we have noticed that the entry is showing as being created in 2024 and updated in 2026. How can this be explained:
