Efficient Reporting on Large Data Sets

When creating reports in OAS that use views with large volumes of data (for example the PACKAGE_COA_ITEM_VW, DOCUMENT_METADATA_VW and STUDENT_CONSOLIDATED_VW) you may experience report timeouts in the UI. To address this, we recommend scheduling these long-running reports. Scheduling allows OAS to process data for extended periods and increases the likelihood of successful report completion.

Alternatively, the new Customer Data Export feature in OAS provides an efficient solution for handling large data sets. With Data Export, you can extract non-redundant data from SFA and perform targeted reporting directly on your own database for better performance and flexibility.
