i.e.

1,400 + 1,400 = 2,800

Apply the round by 1000 rounding and you get

1 + 1 = 3

In the latter case they would like some kind of exception report that gives them a warning of the values that they may then manually adjust (sighs) Anyone had a similar requirement and given the client a polite reply beyond - you are wasting your time?
