How to call dbms_crypto package from Oracle BI publisher

in Human Capital Management

We have a requirement to call dbms_crypto.encrypt package from BI publisher to encrypt sensitive data at the column level.

So i have 2 questions:

  1. When we select Data Source as ApplicationDB_HCM which schema/user is it using? (eg apps, fusion etc.)
  2. If we raise SR on Oracle to grant execute on dbms_crypto to that user will Oracle allow it.
