The EDM out-of-the-box comparison feature supports only Defined and Inherited properties, excluding Derived and Derived-and-Stored properties, which limits effective comparison of nodes involving derived properties. When using node type converters with derived properties at the source, simple copying fails and custom transformation logic is necessary; moreover, transformed properties cannot be used for comparison. Additionally, the comparison tool does not currently support excluding implicit shared nodes, causing mismatched values for inherited properties across different shared parent locations.
