Drill through not working for standard users

Summary:

Drill through from EPBCS smartview to source (Oracle ERP Cloud) has been enabled and works fine for admin and power users but not for standard users with the 'Data Integration - Drill Through' role added. I've tried disabling location security entirely but nothing seems to work other than elevating them to power user.

Is power user a requirement for drill through or should it work for standard users with that additional role?
