Looking for SAP Insight (Incorrect SAP Status for Maximum Timeframe)

We have discovered that students who are failing their Maximum Timeframe (SAP) are not being correctly classified. Our population of students being affected by this are students who had SAP ran the first year and had the SAP status set as Financial Aid Disqualification. During that first year however, they were approved for an appeal and we set their SAP status as Financial Aid Probation. During their second year, after SAP was reran, the student's SAP status was set at Regular (programmatically and not manually) despite still failing Maximum Timeframe.
