Getting error of "You must specify the bonus rate for the transaction date"

We are attempting to adjust the bonus rule using Change Financial Details; however, we are unable to post the asset due to the following error:
“You must specify the bonus rate for the transaction date.”

Upon analysis, we observed that for some assets the service is already completed, and for others, a default bonus rule is not assigned at the asset category level.

As part of the action plan, my understanding is that:

• The bonus rule cannot be changed for assets that are not yet placed in service.
• For assets already in service, we attempted to assign a default bonus rule at the asset category level with an effective start date of
