When an employee submits an absence request with Unit of Measure (UOM) = Days, the expected behavior is that the timecard displays the absence as 0.5 day, which works correctly in most cases.

However, intermittently, the same absence is displayed in the timecard as 4 instead of 0.5. When this occurs, the following error message is raised:

“The time entry unit of measure doesn't apply to the related time card field values. (HXT-1665174)”

This error prevents the employee from submitting the timecard for approval.
