Request recommendation on conversion of UOM of Absence type

Dear Experts,

Request your recommendation for a business scenario that we are facing here.

The Exam Leave (UOM=Cal Days) that we are having for some of our business units is undergoing a change from 1-March onwards. 4 of them have a need to have Exam leave as Working days, while others continue to be on Calendar Days. What is the best way to approach this change?

  1. I can create a new Absence type called Exam leave (Working days) while still continuing to have the same old Exam leave ( Cal Days ). Based on the Business Unit/LE we can provide the eligibility for employee to get the required access.
