VBCS page showing message in single line

Summary:

On the VBCS page, string values are not displayed on separate lines. Although the REST service response payload includes those string values with line breaks, VBCS seems to strip out the newline characters..

We have developed a VBCS screen that includes a button. When the button is clicked, it triggers an OIC REST service call. The service responds with the following payload:

  <P_Message_Details>Error: Proof CheckList is not set for the work definition.

Sum of ingredient quantities does not match with batch quantity.

Quantity for ingredient is not within 0.5% of the component in item structure.



  Components are Bulk Item, but assigned to non-bulk process group .
