Ensuring Subassembly Work Orders Finish Same Day or Before PT Order Without Affecting PT Sequence

Summary:

We are using Oracle Fusion Production Scheduling integrated with Supply Planning, where the work orders used in the scheduling process are those released directly from supply planning.

For our finished goods (PT) work centers, attribute-based sequencing is configured.

To achieve the correct scheduling sequence, we had to create a dedicated production scheduling plan that only includes PT work orders. In this plan, we used the "need-by date override" for the work orders and set scheduling buckets to 7 days. With this configuration, the desired attribute-based sequence for PT is consistently respected.

There are no attribute sequences for the subassembly work centers, only simple changeover rules.
