Transfer of absence plan balance when a new primary assignment is added
Summary:
Requirement 1 : If an employee is in a benefit eligible position ( if an employee is benefit eligible or not is decided by a combination of factors – normal hours on the assignment , assignment category, and the benefit class) and they move to a non-benefit eligible position then the balance should be disbursed – Working as expected
Requirement 2: In case of multiple assignments , only the primary assignment is eligible for absences. Now if an employee has a new primary assignment or moves from one primary assignment to another, the balance should not get disbursed but transferred. – This is the problem
Right now, we have the absence plan configured with the processing type – Assignment but even if we change the processing type to primary assignment the disbursement happens because we have the check box disburse positive balance on loss of plan eligibility within same legal employer
