Does cancelling a work relationship stop the processes that the cancelled user has scheduled?

Summary:

We are working on automating our lower environment refreshes. Part of this process involves using an employee record to schedule several reccuring processes. Once the environment refresh is completed, we cancel the work relationship of this dummy employee. We've noticed that our scheduled processes for this user all seem to be running to "Error" status. Is this happening because we cancel the work relationship?
