How to override Derived Standard Working Hours

In our organization, the Derived Standard Working Hours are tied to a legal entity. In Setup and Maintenance, under Work Schedule Assignment Administration, we defined the standard working hours for a legal entity X as 37.5 hours. However, we have a group of employees who work 35 hours in this legal entity and are treated as full-time employees.

To ensure that both FTE and absence accrual calculations are correct, we would like to override the value in the Derived Standard Working Hours field. However, we do not use such fields as Assignment Standard Working Hours or Standard Working Hours Override. Can the hours be updated in a different way?
