Planned order aggregation based on Suggested due date

Summary:

How does the Planned orders get aggregated based on the Suggested due date, given the Supply plan is in Daily buckets and the Item does not have a Fixed Days Supply defined. The expectation is to have one Planned order generated for each Suggested due date, after consolidating all the demands on that particular suggested due date.

We have a scenario were, we did not define FDS for the item, but constrained Supply planning has consolidated the demand of 30-Jan (1 order) and 31-Jan (1 order) and generated a Planned order. And another Planned order is generated for the remaining demands of 31-Jan ( 8 orders). We expected, one planned order will be generated for 30-Jan(1 order) and another Planned order will be generated for 31-Jan( 9 orders). If this is not the ideal behavior, please explain what is else help to suggest what could be the root cause for this behavior.
